What the font?

What the font?
As we create a layout we usually put much emphasis on the photo, but using the right font is just as important. We want to preserve the photo in a layout that tells a story. A lot of photos all by themselves can tell the story, especially if we use a collection of photos in a layout. We may still need a title, or we may still want to journal to relate the story in our own words.
Fonts come in all shapes and sizes, and there are many to choose from. Fonts have a personality all of their own that can help tell your story. Here are a few tips that may help you:
*Rounded edge fonts have a distinct calming and relaxing feel to them. They represent creativity, relaxation, and fun.
*Sharp and bold fonts have a distinct reliable feel to them. They represent professionalism, seriousness, trust and reliability.

Here are a few sample layouts that I found in our SDD designers galleries that they have created (Images are linked to our gallery). I would like for you to look at each layout and tell me what you think the font represents to you. For example the first layout done by LDrag Designs represents love, softness, & tenderness. The font of the title is all lowercase, so it gives me the feeling of tenderness, but the journaling font gives me the sense of love and nurturing. (It makes me want to read the whole thing) Keep in mind there are no wrong answers. I will randomly choose 10 people to win the June SDD Grab bag. You need to number your answers with the same number on the layout. Please email your answers to admin@scrappity-doo-dah.com by Sunday night 8:00 pm EST. I will announce the winners in the newsletter on Tuesday.
