Hey all! Bre here with my first ever blog post at SDD! I love a good challenge, so I’m here to talk to you about all the fantastical monthly challenges at SDD.

If you haven’t checked them out yet, head over to the {challenge section} in the {Scrappity-doo-dah forum}. We have so many awesome challenges, and lots of chances to build up points to earn towards a GC to our shoppe. Before you begin, I suggest you check out the following threads that kind of explain how it all works.

Once you’ve got that figured out, I suggest you mark your spot in the monthly {challenge tracker}. Then…GET STARTED!!

We have challenges for everyone! If you’re doing {Project 365}, we’ve got challenges for you. We’ve got {photography challenges}, {desktop challenges}, {color challenges}, and SO MUCH MORE! Plus we’ve got challenges where you can pick up some freebies…

For example, with our {Bird Cage} challenge, you get to pick up this mini kit, and create a layout using it.

And the best part is that most of these challenges are done twice a month…so that’s DOUBLE the freebies and opportunities to earn points!

It’s only a few weeks away from Thanksgiving and all I see in the stores is Christmas. Christmas everywhere! Now, I love Christmas just as much as many others, but I would love to enjoy just one holiday fully at a time. So to contrast the Christmas everywhere I looked through the store and gallery at Scrappity-Doo-Dah and found some awesome Thanksgiving kits and layouts.

Those are just a couple of the fabulous layouts I found in the gallery. So within the holiday cluster take a moment to think about each holiday fully. I know I will. Writing this post has me thinking about what I’m thankful for.

I’m thankful to be a designer at Scrappity-Doo-Dah. I absolutely love the team I work with and the community is amazing. I am thankful for Yvonne and Tam. They take such amazing care of all of us. I am thankful for my friends in the digi community and outside of it. Mostly I am thankful for my amazing family. I simply could not do it all without their support.

What are you thankful for?

If you haven’t checked out the speed scraps at SDD you really should!  Not only do we always have lots of fun scrapping but the night is always filled with tons of chatting and a few games too.  This month the designers have teamed up to put together another fabulous collab.  Each week participants of our speed scrap will receive a portion of Good Morning Sunshine!  So make sure to mark your calendar so you don’t miss out on any of the fun.

Each month I try to have a little fun and spice up our Speed Scraps.  This month we are doing Numbered Speed Scraps!  Not sure what that means, well then why not head over to the chat room next Sunday and check it out!  I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Fall is here! and with all the wonderful colors and smells of this wonderful season! I am one of those people who really enjoys nature in the fall. I can take more than a few good photos of my kids whether it be at the pumpkin patch or out in the woods, the colors and the lighting seem to always be perfect. I look forward to sharing dinners with friends, and all the spices and home cooking, yum!

I was browsing the gallery today when I saw on the first page already a gorgeous page made by Chaos Lounge!

It’s so bright and I love the clustering she did. It actually made me smile, and that’s kinda hard for me these days.
